Description
My shoal fish design ceramic mugs are hand painted. I make these mugs on the potter’s wheel in a white stoneware clay. The handles are also handmade and may vary slightly on each mug. After the mug has dried naturally it is bisque/biscuit fired, a glaze is now applied to the piece, then it is decorated by hand, placed back into the kiln for its glost firing. These mugs are approximately 82mm high and 98mm wide and hold approximately 350 – 400ml.
My ceramics are made by hand, so no two pieces will be totally identical, consider them as sisters rather than identical twins. Slight imperfections are a part of handmade pottery and add personality to each piece.
